What Happened
According to The Verge, the Google Pixel Buds Pro 2 have dropped back down to $169, matching the lowest price recorded for the wireless earbuds. The discount is available across Amazon, Best Buy, and the official Google Store.
Availability and Details
The promotional price is scheduled to run until 11:59 PM Pacific Time on November 8th on Google's website, with other retailers expected to match this timeline, according to The Verge. However, shoppers should note that certain color options may already be sold out at some outlets, making it necessary to check multiple retailers to find preferred colorways.
Features and Background
The Pixel Buds Pro 2 are tailored for Android users and offer specialized features when paired with Pixel phones, such as deeper Gemini integration. Reviewers have highlighted the redesigned hardware, which reduces both physical size and weight to enhance overall comfort and fit. The earbuds feature upgraded noise cancellation alongside an improved transparency mode, though they trail industry leaders like the Bose Ultra Earbuds in that specific category. Out of the box, the audio profile prioritizes crisp clarity and detail instead of heavy bass, and users can further customize the sound using available presets or a five-band equalizer.
