Google Rolls Out Android Auto Fix

Google has confirmed that a fix has been successfully deployed to resolve Android Auto issues impacting Samsung Galaxy devices running the One UI 9 update, according to 9to5Google.

Background and Reported Issues

Following the wider rollout of Samsung’s stable Android 17-based One UI 9 update, users across Reddit, Samsung’s support forums, and Google’s forums reported experiencing problems with Android Auto. Affected users described issues including stuttering performance and complete connection failures. While not universally widespread, the pattern of complaints highlighted a noticeable trend tied to the software version. Testing by Android Authority demonstrated that while a device on an older software version operated without issue, a Galaxy S24 Ultra running One UI 9 immediately reproduced the erratic behavior reported by users.
